When God Breathes: 2 Timothy 3:14-17

Paul tells Timothy that "all Scripture is God-breathed" — a phrase found nowhere else in the Bible. Tracing God's breath from the dust of Genesis 2, through the dry bones of Ezekiel 37, to Jesus breathing on His disciples in John 20, this lesson shows that wherever God breathes, life is formed, restored, and renewed. Read that way, 2 Timothy 3 says far more than that God is the source of Scripture: He is the source of the life Scripture generates in us. The closing question is a personal one — what kind of life is God's breath producing in me?
