What We Believe
Four Pillars of Faith
Inspired by the early church in Colossians, we define ourselves through these core characteristics.
An Example of Faith
We aim for our faith to be recognized by both believers and non-believers alike.
"We have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints because of the hope reserved for you in heaven." — Colossians 1:4-5 (CSB)
An Example of Works
Faith and works cannot be separated. We want our community to know us through our service.
"What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but does not have works?... I will show you faith by my works." — James 2:14, 18 (CSB)
The Christian Life
We commit to living out our faith through worship, community, and daily Christ-centered living.
"He has reconciled you by his physical body through his death, to present you holy, faultless, and blameless before him—if indeed you remain grounded and steadfast in the faith." — Colossians 1:22-23 (CSB)
The Light of Christ
We aspire to be a beacon sharing God's love and the hope we have in Christ.

Clay Thornton
Preacher & Elder
Clay began preaching in 2000 and joined Southside in 2014. He and his wife Mandy have five daughters.
Jason Campbell
Elder
Raised in a gospel-centered home, Jason owns Campbell Custom Homes. He and his wife Cindy have two daughters.

Tony McLeroy
Deacon since 2011
Tony's parents were among Southside's founding families in 1957. He and his wife Sheryl have two daughters.
Brian Reuter
Deacon since 2018
Brian joined Southside in 2014 and works at Sadler's Smokehouse. He and his wife Valerie have three children.
