About This Sermon
Setting out from Romans 15:4 — that everything written before was written for our instruction — Clay Thornton opens the genealogies of First Chronicles, the endless lists of names most of us skip. Those names told a people who they were and where they fit in God's story, and they reveal a God who remembers his people. Faithfulness doesn't require visibility: others may never know what it cost you to be faithful, but God does. God remembers your name, sees your service, and carries your faithfulness forward.
