About This Sermon
Two sermons in Acts — Peter's in Acts 2 and Stephen's in Acts 7 — preached the same message about Jesus, and in both cases the hearers were cut to the heart. Yet one crowd sought mercy and the other sought murder. The difference was never the message or the preacher but the heart of the listener: one teachable, one hardened. Clay Thornton presses the congregation to examine their own response to God's word, and points to the transformation of Saul of Tarsus as proof that even a hardened response is never anyone's final response.
